Only other place I can think of that has a sub-aether realtime optical crystal network like this one is a tiny little planetoid in a trinary system somewhere near the Zelbinian Cluster and this definitely is not a trinary system unless something's gone and happened to two of the suns--you haven't noticed anything wrong with the sky, lately, have you? Anyone?"

Him? Not allowed? He's allowed everywhere. This wild-haired stickfigure of a man in a suit and longcoat and ridiculous Converses just strolled right into your throne room, trailing staring guards and spluttering advisors in his wake. "You," he says, striding right up to you with a huge grin. "I never forget a face."

Oh, crap, you've gone and done something evil. It's amazing how someone with that consistently cheerful of a demeanour can so suddenly and intensely turn a laser-like gaze on a person. His eyes are wide and his brows furrowed, the left eyebrow always somehow higher than the right. "Right, now I'm not in the habit of giving second chances, but this is a new place and all so I'm going to tell you this once, and only once. Stop. Whatever reason you might have, it's not. Good. Enough."
