rapid_slash: (Where's your motivation?)

[Now that he's seen this in action for the second time, Vergil is pretty sure of what's going on. He intercepts his opponents attack(s) with a single, wide draw slash. However, it's not entirely successful, and he ends up getting cut again. The force of getting hit by a mecha blade using his own attack sends him flying back; though he recovers, skidding to a stop on one knee.]

It's...mimicking my techniques...

Right...this may be fun after all.

[Injured as he is, he isn't giving up here. And to that end, a ring of six phantom swords appear around him. The glowing blue-hued swords then disappear and re-appear around Masamune with their individual blades pointed at the Tsurugi's body. Simultaneously, they attempt to impale their target from six different directions!]

Hm!

[While this happens, Vergil backs off just enough to enter a low quick-draw stance. He's nowhere in range to hit with Yamato from where he is, much less in an inflexible stance like that. But he draws his blade anyway, and this time, much, much faster than before! So fast that he barely appears to move, and his sword doesn't even visibly leave its scabbard! Something rather perplexing then happens: four purple spheres form directly on Masamune's position - seemingly carrying the effects of several slashes within them!

The logic here is simple. If Masamune can learn and counter one technique at a time, then the only choice is to execute multiple techniques simultaneously!]
