[[In case you've played FFXIII and you're wondering why Lightning's such a jerkface here, it's because my initial canon point for this muse is Chapter 4.]]

-1- (First person test)

I'm about done waiting around for answers. I don't like being taken for a fool.

I'm gonna get a few of the stronger fighters together and raid the bridge. I don't believe that it's invincible - hit it hard enough and long enough and something's got to give. Once we get in, I'm sure plenty of you have some questions you'd like to ask the captain.

Who's with me?

-2- (Third person test)

The end of the most recent docking didn't go as well as it might have. There were complications. For some, getting back to the Charon or not became a question of seconds.

For one passenger (that would likely be your character, for tagging purposes), it looked like there wasn't going to be enough time. Too many monsters, too much distance to travel, too many injuries... until, that is, Lightning went back to get the last straggler herself. Possibly just throwing them over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes, she made the deadline at the last possible moment. Everyone's back in one piece.

It's a few minutes later, now. People are catching their breath in the wake of all the danger and excitement. Lightning just leans against a wall looking at nothing, an expression of mild frustration on her face. After reaching some decision, she sighs, gets up, and approaches the person she saved before.

"Next time, why don't you just stay on the ship?"

[You, Kuja and perhaps someone else was sent to investigate a strange Qin factory producing much more powerful versions of their Terra Cotta soldiers at an alarming rate]

I see... the process is not different from what I've... seen at home. If we destroy it now, The Qin will simply rebuild in a more secure location. I suggest we instead sabotage the formula and to allow them to think this project is a failure.

[So for some strange, bizarre reason, you have been trying to be nice to this man for a while, receiving only annoyance and confusion in return until:]

What do you want from me?!

[The silver-haired narcissist is in an unusual mood, having taken to watching the rolling of clouds at some pretty but remote place late at night, and discovers this time he's not alone]

Hmm...? I did not expect to find another person here at the witching hour. I shall leave you be, since one does not go to these places for company.

[he turns to head off]

[The Monkey King's at it again! The city's overrun with weak, but horribly tenacious super-vermin, and Kuja discovered that these super-vermin in his room and ate his treasured collection of Lord Avon's Completed Works]

I. am. going. to. kill. that. monkey!

1 . [Network Post (s)]

[The first post is nothing but a series of guttural screams, which end abruptly, just in time to catch the tail end of Vanille's actual question.]

-oes this work again?

[Moments later, the following appears.]

Whoops, sorry!

Didn't mean to scare anyone!

[[If you or anyone you know have been affected by the horrifying whims of the network, come complain about it! Or offer some advice. Or whatever ]]

2 . [Floor 11]

It's been a long time since Vanille's seen weather like this. Who'd have thought that in the middle of the tower she'd find a veritable oasis? And it looked like she was alone, too! No monsters, Cie'th, or PSICOM agents in sight. She resists the urge to take a dip in the lake - she's already been warned off the water in the aquarium, and in the Tower, it's always better to err on the side of caution. Vanille doesn't much like the look of the way the water seems to fly right off the edge of the tower - she wouldn't want to get caught in that current!

Still, the rest of the floor is pretty expansive - there's rocks to climb, fresh air to enjoy, and maybe, if Vanille can climb high enough, she could take home a few of those flowers growing on the ceiling?

Well, there's no time like the present!

"Alright!" She says, apparently to herself. "Let's get going!"

[Feel free to drop in! Weather's fine~ (for once)]

3. [Phantoms?!]

[Vanille knows not to explore the tower at night. Still, somehow she's found herself stuck in a study room in the middle of the night with nothing but shadows and a connection to the Network. And who knows how long that's going to last?]

Anyone out there?

[She pauses, and turns to look around. Careful listeners may be able to detect a scritch-scratching noise. Funny thing is, it sounds like it's coming from inside the microphone.]

Can anyone else he-[The sound fades to static. But Vanille looks as though she's hearing something completely different, just over her right shoulder. She turns to look, and stands up from her chair just as the sound kicks back in. Nothing seems to be wrong - in fact, Vanille seems overjoyed!]

I thought you were -

[ The sound cuts to static again. It's hard to make out, but there's a patch of shadow that looks like it's moving in the exact spot Vanille is addressing. It's moving pretty slowly, but it's undeniably coming closer.]

[Looks like Vanille's fallen for the oldest trick in the book. Any potential rescuers out there?]

1 [Action]

[Lenna was sitting under a tree, making a crown out of flowers she had found. It was a nice and sunny day, and it felt good to be outside. She placed the flower crown on her lap and stared at the clouds floating by.]

2 [Video]

[Lenna is tending to the oven as she begins to cook something, making a delicious smell hang around the kitchen.]

Oh, dear. Where did I put the salt? It must be around here somewhere...

[Smoke suddenly starts to rise from the pot on the stove as Lenna spots it and panics.]

Oh, no! Not the gravy! My dinner will be ruined!

3 [Action]

[After her mishap in the kitchen, Lenna began to place the food on the table, thankfully she managed to save the gravy from burning. She then took off her apron and folded it and put it aside. She had hoped she made enough food.]

[Obligatory tavern post! Maybe you're passing through, or maybe you live in the town that her traveling party is visiting. Regardless, there is a little girl in front of the quest board standing on her toes so that she can see properly. She appears to be alone.]

[Someone from the party has left for whatever reason, a friend of yours from the past.]

What do you think you're doing?! Aren't you going to go after him?! He could get hurt, you know!

[The worst has happened. A party member has died. Rydia seemed to have been holding up all right, although she was fairly quiet the day. As the night falls and you settle into sleep, you feel something against your back, and a little whimper.

Seems like someone isn't taking it quite as well as you might have thought...]

[It's been a while since you've seen the pint-sized summoner. Maybe you've even started to wonder just what she's been up to.]

[A somewhat familiar-looking woman waves toward you, jogging toward you just a bit. She beams.]

Wow, you really don't look any different, do you? Long time no see! How have you been?
