Test Run for IMPERIAL_SAGA
[1]
A plain looking carriage had been traveling for days before coming to a stop at a small town near a way point. The idea was to rest for the night at a small tavern and relax before continuing the rest of the way to their destination.
Once they were settled, Relena left her room to visit with her guards and get a feel for the local people. She took up a seat in a corner dressed in a simple dress with her long blonde hair pulled back in a braid. Despite her attempts at trying to hide her aristocratic upbringing, it was still noticeable in the way she held herself and even in the way she talked at times. Still, she was at ease with her men and even some of the women in her entourage. After all, she had known some of them her entire life.
Eventually she excused herself from the crowd to approach the bar to place a drink order.

Relena sighs as she exits yet another political meeting. Since her arrival in the Imperial City, numerous politicians and military leaders have sought her out to hear her views on pacifism. Some mock her, others seem to sympathize. Regardless, every conversation gifts the young politician with insight to the workings of the world outside her peaceful kingdom. Perhaps her mother was right, this trip would be more valuable than she originally thought....

It was a rare beautiful winter day, one she didn't need to spend in various meetings. How was Relena going to spend this day? Shopping of course. It's easy to spot the honey blonde princess wandering around the market place, just taking in the sights.

"May I speak with you?"
Re: 2
Relena begins to lead the way. It would be a lie if she denied being curious about her guest. Yes, most of the politicians were wearing robes and uniforms of their offices, but his seemed unique somehow.
Once they reached her office, she opened the door for him and waits for her visitor to settle into a seat before she shuts the door. "What do you wish to discuss?"
no subject
"I wish to discuss a matter of curiosity," he answers quietly. "Namely mine. I've heard much about your pacifist approach. So indulge an old Bird's curiosity: tell me how you plan to put a stop to the Church's mistreatment of nonhumans with such tactics." His genteel voice never seems to rise very far above a whisper and his gaze, while it does remain on her, appears a bit vaguely focussed, as though he's only mostly here.

"Hey. You. A mutual friend says he'll meet you tonight."
He rolled his eyes, adding on "Don't know why that sociopath couldn't tell you that himself."
Re: 3
Relena paused for a moment before smiling towards Duo. "Perhaps I can at least make the message delivery pleasant for you. Can I buy you lunch or do you need to be somewhere else?"
no subject
Then his stomach growled loudly.
"Okay fine, maybe just a snack."
no subject
She had a feeling he would be hungry. Besides, it was always nice to have company however briefly.
no subject
"If this were anyone else, I'd wonder why he didn't just tell you himself, but I guess you have to make some concessions for someone as socially inept as Heero."
no subject
Relena smiled slightly and got herself a small turkey sandwich. "How is he doing? I haven't heard from him in over a month..."
