[A young girl is quietly wandering around the city - it could be the Docks, the Foundry, or the Grand Library - looking around curiously at all the strange new technology (probably) and other information. It also almost seems like she's looking for someone as well.]

[None of this would be terribly noteworthy if she wasn't wearing a ridiculously impractical frilly outfit everywhere.]

Excuse me. I'm looking for some friends...do you know a girl named Seolla? Or anyone else who might have mentioned an "Earth Federation" or "Personal Troopers"? I'm not sure if they've come here yet, but...

[It's battle time, and some huge ungodly siege engine of a machine is giving everyone some trouble outside the walls. An ungainly-looking plane dances above it, evading anti-aircraft fire and occasionally returning a long-range potshot with a guided missile.]

[Shortly into the fight, when the Qin(?) machine seems to be more or less invulnerable, a girl's voice comes over radio communication, along with a data transmission.]

I've completed analysis on the enemy. I'm sending you the targeting data for its weak points. We have to hit them as hard as we can before it has a chance to self-repair!

[Sure enough, the Wildraubtier's beam attacks seem to be causing more damage by hitting different arbitrary points on its armor...or it might be because she's started cutely yelling out "MEGA BEAM RIFLE!". Follow her lead?]

Not right this minute, but I know she lives in the Wards district, same as me. If she's not there, try the hangar down at the docks.

No, we already figured that out. What you guys call Personal Troopers we call mobile suits. And it only grows from there.

But you do have...well, what we call EOT. If you have things like Personal Troopers, I mean.

Have...you made contact with any aliens in your world? Other than the people on this planet, I mean.

EOT? Er, no. No, we've only had humans in our solar system.

Technology...things like PTs and Super Robots are mostly as common as they are now because an alien weapon fell to Earth years ago, and scientists studied it, and...a few other things. We call it "Extra-Over Technology".

Wow. That's...different. We haven't had anything even close to that. We came up with mobile suits on our own.

Things like the Gespenst line don't actually use any alien technology, but it definitely...oh, are we here?

Yep, this is it. It's got taller walls than the other villas.

[He's trying to not look at all the tents around the villa. That would just get under his skin.]

[Latooni definitely looks, though. It's her first time in this ward.]

There's a lot of people in this city...

They send all the refugees from around the world here. It pisses me off to see them forced to live in tents. They had problems before they got here, why should they keep having problems?

This sort of thing comes with war. Peoples' homes are destroyed...even back home, there's cities that are just ruins, and it's a lot worse here.

That's why we're fighting, though, right?

That's right. I'll make sure these people don't have to keep living in tents myself if I have to.

[He looked over the incoming data as his mobile suit circled closer to the ground.]

[The Wildraubtier, for its part, transforms into a mobile suit personal trooper mobile suit, dropping to the ground to draw and aim a rifle.]

Let's see...SURE HIT! GRAVITON ATTACK!

[Hot blood is not really her specialty.]

[If that's what it takes her to keep from panicking, that's cool. Woolf attacks from the other side, targeting a weakspot highlighted by Latooni's scan with his DODS rifle.]

[The attacks go from "meh" to Super Effective! Or at least the enemy's defense stat is down 10% for the round.]

[Latooni's just going to be quickly analyzing what that white PT can do while explosions start wracking the enemy weapon.]

[The not!Huckebein is a solid, well designed all rounder with no special gimmicks but no real weaknesses. The pilot is really good at his job, though.]

Man, if I had a computer whizz as good as you back home it'd save me so much trouble.

I did something that only that stupid Arado would do, that's what! [ Seolla's hardly the reckless type, but even she can pull a surprising move every now and again. ] Don't tell me you still took damage from that blast. I won't be happy to hear my sacrifice was for naught, you know!
