For
towerofanimus!
An eerie green glow is coming out from under the door of Wilhelm's room. Upon opening the door, you will find him calmly seated at his desk, a half-full glass of wine at his side, soft music coming from a nearby, old-fashioned phonograph, and a strange, golden disc, over two rotating circles and a green, translucent cube of energy. Wilhelm stares into this cube, his chin resting in his palm, his eyes never blinking as if he were in a trance.
"I was wondering when you would come," he finally says, his voice totally monotonous. Red, albino eyes finally blink, as Wilhelm turns to face you, and motions to the chair directly across from his desk.
The music begins to pick up just a tiny bit, as Wilhelm reaches for the glass of wine, taking a sip. "The collective unconscious of this world fascinates me," he comments, setting the glass back down. "There is so much chaos, strife, and despair. A dystopian universe the likes of which Lovecraft would have found terrifying. It is a perfect representation of humanity's darkest fears."
Glancing back at the Compass for a moment, Wilhelm blinks, and then looks back at his guest. "I cannot see into many of the locations within the tower. The movements of the collective unconscious are also far too erratic for me to properly predict the future. I am not worried, however; I find the added challenge to be interesting."

"You were expecting me?" He doesn't sound as surprised as he should be. The Elf has seen strange things back home, stranger things in the tower and would likely seen even stranger still while he remained here.

The record shifts a bit, and another piece of the opera begins playing. Wilhelm doesn't react at all to the change in music; he simply shifts his position in his chair, facing the elf much more directly. "I believe you have much to discuss with me. Is that not correct?"
no subject
"Perhaps. I admit I am curious as to how you can read the future. You appear as no wizard I have come to know in my life, from a time that is obviously beyond my own." There was a lot more to it but this was plenty to start.

The Chaos ring on the Compass continues rotating far faster than Order, and in several erratic ways. "However, the movements of this world's collective unconscious are unstable. I am not able to accurately predict the future of this world, as there are far too many variables I am unfamiliar with."

"You can enter the minds of those here? Is that not dangerous? You could manipulate them as King Theoden once was." Priorities, the Elf has them, despite how reckless Haldir, Gimli and Gandalf thought he was.
no subject
"Perhaps I was vague," he elaborated. "The collective unconscious is made up of all mortal minds. It is not a singular entity."
no subject
"Does it look like I give a fuck? What do you need Shiro for this time, asshole?"
no subject
And yet, here you are.
[ He adjusts his position in his chair, and places his chin on his fist. ]
The same thing I need you for.
no subject
Leave her alone, you asshole. You know the only reason she's allowed around you is because your bloody head will be mine one day.
no subject
You have promised this before, as have many before you. You know by now that it is an empty threat.
[ Wilhelm leans forward, folding his arms across the desk. ]
I am patient enough to wait for you to figure out my intentions in time. I know you will, eventually. I have foreseen it.

You are referring to the 'lullaby' Shiro told me of that is not present in this world. Am I not correct?
[ He finally sits up in his seat. ]
Tell me. What will you do if even you are forced to show restraint?

[ Wilhelm leans forward again over his desk. ]
Have you not considered that I brought you here, hoping you would do just that?
[ ... Is he being serious, or is this reverse-psychology? ]

You know as well as I do that if you want out of this world, you will have to trust me. Your powers cannot traverse dimensions.
no subject
I don't want your fucking help. I'll just force you to open my dimension and kill you. You need to die already. God doesn't exist.
no subject
You should know by now that death is not a concern to me.
[ He sighs, leaning what remains of his head against his fist. ]
Though if it is of any consolation to you, that was painful.
no subject
I don't care. I love the blood, the sight of brains on the floor, bone everywhere. Not some fucking light show. But your pain does please me.

[ Wilhelm's entire head starts glowing, and a few seconds later, his entire head has reformed, completely healed, as if nothing had even happened. ]
My interest in both of you is not of the same nature as that of Sorae Igurashi, or of your 'director.'
[ As he says this, he casually reaches for his glass of wine, and casually finishes it, despite the fact that a few seconds ago, half of his head is missing. ]
Have you truly not figured out why I continue to speak with you?
no subject
[A growl.]
no subject
[ He looks legitimately disappointed. She really doesn't know, does she? ]
If I recall, it is you who is violent towards me. I had thought I was perfectly polite to you. Both of you.

Truly? You are not projecting, are you?

Liar? Have I not shown kindness to both of you?
[ Wilhelm leans forward a bit, dangerously close to her. ]
You - both of you - are essential to my plans. That is why I will not harm you.

I know there are some sick fucked up people out there. And who says you aren't one of them? Whatever you do, you just need us for that one purpose, and you'll leave Shiro alone. And I will break [Grabbing his neck with her hands, both fixed.]
This pretty little neck.
no subject
That is a very strange conclusion to reach, my dear egg. And why would you believe it is only one purpose?
[ However, the barrier falls just as she reaches for his neck. He makes no attempt to stop her, and allows her to strangle him; although, despite the pressure on his neck, he can still speak perfectly unobstructed. And she might even notice he's not breathing. At all. No air is even leaving his lungs as he speaks. ]
I believe you have already tried to do so before.
no subject
You'll use us and throw us away.
no subject
Throw you away?
[ He then does something very brave, or very foolish. A hand comes up to her cheek. ]
I could never do that. Not to you.
no subject
SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP! [Someone's pissed.]
no subject
You still deny it.
[ He allows her to push him backwards, but he doesn't go nearly as far as she likely hoped. ]
no subject
I want you dead.
no subject
[ He makes no attempt to resist her. ]
You and so many others.
