[It's just another day, and Yusuke is helping buck crates onto a wagon. It was menial work but it was rewarding, as he worked with the people. Maybe come and berate or make fun of the powerful legendary warrior doing things? Or maybe come and help him out first?]


2.

[Yusuke's in court right now, trying not to yawn. He has never been good at this sort of thing, but he was representing, well, himself really. Whatever weight he had politically however was diminished by his head dipping towards the table as he tried not to fall asleep...]


3.

[Another battle on the plains. As the people were fighting their hardest, a huge portion of them exploded upwards in a rising fountain of golden energy, illuminating the battlefield. A battle cry went up as a red suited form strode out of the golden flames.]

KUUGA! It's Kuuga!

[Mixed fear and awe washed over the place as Yusuke struck a pose before crouching low. Golden energy fountained off Rising Mighty's leg as he leaped high into the air and came down into a pack of enemy units.]

[THOOOM, the entire place lit up in a furious golden pillar of energy before blossoming outwards in a most Dragon Slave-esque eruption. When the dust settled, Yusuke threw up his hand in a thumbs up to the allies he was fighting with.]

[Xellos cracks open one eye, and wags his finger at Yusuke, still smiling.]

I'm afraid you misunderstand my intentions. You see, Mister Kuuga - such strength is something that my superiors see as something that needs to be, ah... Taken care of.

[Yusuke pauses and then he sighs. Not again.] Very well. I trust you'll allow me to get some room then so we won't hit my troops?

I suppose that would be the polite thing to do, but...

[That finger that he was wagging just prior? It's swept in front of him in a deliberate gesture. A line of energy sweeps through Yusuke's troops, followed by a series of explosions.]

...I can't risk them interfering in one way or another.

[Yusuke just stared for a moment, flashbacks of the Grongi's rampage. And he turned towards him and growled

Without a word, the Arcle started spinning once more as his transformation sound played and he pressed it. A fountain of black energy erupted around him as he rose into the air and landed, black and gold rimming his outfit with red eyes.

You done it now, Xellos. The first thing he's going to do is try to set you on fire with his mind.]

[Xellos stands steadfast, smugly basking in the sheer anger coming off of Yusuke. Once he feels the attempt at being incinerated, he flickers away, reappearing closer to the Rider. He's in a sitting position, lazily floating in mid-air.]

An impressive feat, being able to create fire without incantations or motions - but it's quite useless if it doesn't connect, Mister Kuuga~.

That may be true... but I don't need to worry too much about that.

[And the sky darkened as a huge blizzard whipped into view, covering the area with driving snow as he called it down, ready to weigh down Xellos with the elements as he charged in for a good old slugging.]

[Another impressive feat - perhaps one Xellos might turn to his advantage, should the chance come up.

Once the fist comes for him, though, Xellos raises a palm to block with a barrier - it lasts only for a moment, and he flickers away once again. Reappearing behind Kuuga, he realizes that things may not go as easily as he planned. Perhaps his inactivity through the centuries has caused him to get rusty - or perhaps the heroes of Dagaria have gotten that much stronger in his absence...

He sweeps his staff at Yusuke, and a swarm of black-purple bolts of energy spring from nothingness, and head for the Rider.]

[Well damn, conjuration. Grabbing a fallen sword he transformed it into the Titan Sword and swept it at the bolts to try and cut them into several pieces with the enchanted blade.]
