Well, less "treat" and more it's kinda the only thing I can eat without getting food poison.

A lot of it's gonna look weird though... that's what happens when life springs up so deep in the water that light can't reach it.

[And thank the heavens for that, otherwise Mizuki and her parents would've starved years ago.]

No. Pointy ears, yes. Tentacles, no.

The problem is almost all food on this planet's part of a food chain that started with the Sun. In other worse, it started with Sol energy. And for someone like me-

[Read: a being born from an anti-Sun with the intent of wiping out all life on it so that said anti-Sun could've populated the planet with its own life forms.]

- Any food like that's pretty much poison. It won't kill me, but it can make me pretty sick and I won't get any nutrients from it.
