[Comm post!]

Humans hurt very easily.
If you kill one human, other humans will be hurt, even if you don't touch them.
Forming bonds with each other just opens them to more pain.

So why?

[FIGHT PROMPT. The shapeshifting boy is proving exceedingly dangerous and almost impossible to damage... but at a moment when he has the high ground, he reverts to his small humanoid form, looking disappointed and a little frustrated.]

So weak! If I go all out, your fragile body would shatter from just a hit or two. It's impossible for me to enjoy this.

Is there anything I can do to force you to become more powerful? I read that humans are capable of feats of great strength in unexpected circumstances. Should I give you a few days to increase your power? Or maybe I could threaten to kill your friends. What will it take to make this interesting for me?

[For whatever reason, you've ended up taking Maimakterion around Sirocco! When he's not trying to kill people, he's actually quite non-threatening. He follows along with a dull expression, taking in everything he's shown, sometimes taking spontaneous and intense interest in random details, seldom staying anywhere for too long. There's too much information to absorb to be standing still.]

I want to see the market next.

They are weak and seek to hide from the cold darkness of a world that does not care if they live or die.

Indeed it is. It is not impossible for a foolish man to blind himself from this truth with friendship and "love".

It's a frivolous illusion that effeminate poets made up to disguise lust.
