[There is an old man at the school gym, after hours.

He is practicing basic martial art stances and basic katas.

Complaining to no one in particular.]

I have been old for so long, I forgot what it's like to actually feel old.

I am attempting to entertain the child I have been put in charge of.

Can someone kindly explain to me how American Football works?



C] Action!

[It is cold, raining and windy out today.

A friendly old man notices you heading to work, or to school, and pulls up along-side you.]

Need a ride? It is a miserable day for walking.



D] Action! - After regains.

[It's nice out. There isn't a cloud in the sky. The day looks to be a peaceful one.

Except for that large, flaming, wooden cart wheel flying down the road. Is that a face on it, screaming in anger?]
(I could not find a good pic of Hell Girl - Wanyudo's wheel so this will do for now.)

[It takes him a bit to realize Slugger was there.

Stopping suddenly and turning so the face on the hub was not facing the speeding rollerblader.]

Hello Master Slugger. It is a great day to let loose.

[Of course, the face seems angry, not pleased, at the moment and the wheel slowly spins in place. The flames continue.]

[Putting on the brakes, he skids to a sideways halt not far behind the talking wheel, then edges curiously closer to peer at it.]

Wanyudo... What happened?

[His voice comes in an angry shout.]

[He then closes his eyes. Soon, the wheel fades, the head shrinks and the familiar old man is standing where the wheel once turned.]

[Hearing Wanyudo use such a tone is almost alarming, though Slugger doesn't back away. Instead, it endears the old man to him in a new way. He understands now and wears an enlightened grin.]

You really are her companion.
