[ It's Summer Court (do they even have a court for summer?? THEY NOW DO FOR TESTING PURPOSES...) and every city is decked out in a variety of bonfires of all sizes. Imperial City though? It seems there's a fire elemental imprisoned while the the civilians wait eagerly for the sun to set. She doesn't seem too happy with her confinement though. Tapping on the glass for her attention will fetch a bored expression if anything. ]

[ Thankfully, some Big Hero Type has saved this little fire elemental from being used to fuel the Imperial City bonfires. A good thing too, because she might have thrown a temper tantrum involving lots of baby fires. As a sign of her good faith though, she'll help the fires ignite without it being a big show. One might be able to steal a peek from her around the corner of a building before she skips off. ]

➥ ＩＩＩ．

Let us dance! [ Once most of the others have gone to sleep, the celebration going long into the night, this little sprite of energy will pop up out of nowhere. ] Please? Pretty please? I've never been able to dance with anyone before.

[ She doesn't really appear to be the type to dance with easily. Sure hope there's plenty of fire resist gear involved... ]

[ What is that awful stench? ]

Oh. [ It's the hooman's flesh on her shoulder. ] Ew, did you have to leave that on me?

[He winces, and then makes his wounded hand into a fist.]

Well, I didn't leave it. It just...stuck.

[He can't really blame her, since she doesn't seem to understand that physical contact with her would burn most humans.]

Hold still...

[He tries to pull the skin off with the index finger and thumb of his healthy hand. However, he has to pull away again after a few seconds when it starts burning his fingers. After his fingers cool, he tries again. After several repeats, he is able to pry loose the skin to the point that it falls from her shoulder to the ground.]

[...Of course, it managed to take the skin on his two finger points with it. He quickly shoves the hurting index finger into his mouth to try to soothe the burning pain.]

[ She certainly doesn't understand why he's going through all that effort when she could have just tilted her head and allow the flames of her hair to destroy it. Hm, but then her hair would stink some more. Quite the quandary. ]

Are you done? [ There's a small inkling of concern in her voice, but it's drowned out by the crackling of flame. ] You shouldn't do things that hurt.

[He pulls the finger out of his mouth.]

I'm done.

[He almost gapes at her.]

Well, you did say it was disgusting, so I tried to remove it. Cute little lassies like you shouldn't have to handle that stuff.

[He would have patted her on the head, but that would have damaged his hands even more.]

[ Difficult women is a byproduct of E-Rank Luck, Lancer. Maybe he ought to AU as a Lancer with Ex++ Luck alright. ]

I don't think I'd mind it a lot. [ Other than when it's on her. ] So is everyone here that easy to melt?

[Contract with Misaya gives him D rank luck...but since it's Misaya, his luck might as well as be E.]

Pretty much. We humans...can't really stick our bodies into flames without using some sort of protection.

[He opens his fist and looks down at his hand. Still red and raw, but gradually healing. At times like these, he's glad that he's not completely human.]

[ That must have been a typo. How could a Lancer not have E-Rank luck?? ]

Your hand--!! Why is it doing that now? [ She sounds as though she were a little girl with her questioning. ] Is it getting better?

[Looks like she saw his skin growing back.]

Yeah, it's getting better. But I heal faster than everyone else here. Usually, if you burn a person's hand like that, it would take week to heal over.

[He stands up dusts himself off with his relatively uninjured hand.]
