The streets were dark, quiet, two sets of steps soon breaking the silence. The first set heavy, uneven steps mingling with the lighter, quicker ones as a tall, dark figure seemingly stalked behind one other unwaveringly, scrutinizing them as a predator would watch its prey...

"Even the fiercest predators know how to keep their prey from spoiling the night. You should be wary that something like that doesn't get you caught."

She eyed him for a few moments before grinning. "You never know when something bigger comes along. There always is something bigger out there." She'd know.. she'd been caught plenty of times before, not all of them in a very pleasant manner.

His grin returned. "Bah, I haven't seen anything to match me yet~" He laughed a little and leaned against the nearest wall, corssing his arms.

"..Now, who might you be~?"

"Please don't be one of the many foolish brutes who let their ego override their natural awareness hon. I'm rather tired of meeting those types." she said with an air of teasing, a grin on her features.

"If it tickles your fancy I am Ellistree of the Moonshadow House. And since you asked so nicely I suppose I should extend the courtesy hm? Who might you be?"

"Nice to meet you, Ellistree." He nodded thoughtfully, looking back up to her.

"The name is Kurtis-Rutgar Jones, if I remember it right.." He sighed a little.

"Kurtis-Rutgar Jones..." she replied in a wisp of a voice before smiling down.

"Well you definitely sound like a Rutgar." she added, "Do you have trouble remembering perhaps?"

[kurtis_rutgar]

"Something happened to me a while ago, though I do not know what it was, I only remember waking up from a lot of pain." He pouted.

[luneshalla]

"Huh, amnesiac perhaps? You don't seem to be doing bad considering though. What have you done since then?" she asked curiously.

[kurtis_rutgar]

"..Just...wandering." He shook his head. "Nothing much for a person like me to do with no memories, no memories.."

[luneshalla]

"Well you must have been doing something. Maybe try searching for your memories? Or have you simply been hunting?"

[kurtis_rutgar]

"I could try to find them..though sometimes, my will is not my own, I have to hunt, so I am told."

[luneshalla]

"So you are told?" Elli had to raise a brow at that statement.

"So you are possessed then?" she asked curiously.

[kurtis_rutgar]

He sighed.
"At this point, I don't really know. No matter how hard I make an effort to think back.."

"Have you sought out help? Maybe someone familiar with said symptoms?"

Ellistree rested her head on her hands as she looked down at him curiously. He as certainly an odd fellow.

"..Actually, no, I haven't found any others, it hadn't crossed my mind to.."

[luneshalla]

"You should probably do that. Being possessed is no way to live. Specially if you have to keep following it's orders. Take it from experience."

And she'd leave it at that, not wanting to explain further.

"I should do that.." He nodded slowly. "..But first, to find a place to begin my search.."

[luneshalla]

"There's many places you could. As far as the many realms that encompass the comos, there might even be a different plane you could visit in order to accomplish just that." she said with an amused grin.

[kurtis_rutgar]

He was silent, frowning at the thought of other realms, he hated traveling to begin with, and he shuddered at the possibility of ever doing to somewhere other than this..

"Ah..right..maybe."

[luneshalla]

"Staying here will only allow you to fester until you eventually lose yourself." She added with certainty, looking down at him.

"If you wish to grow out of this, if you wish to continue forward, you have to take the steps forward. Being led by a leash is no way to live."
