The streets were dark, quiet, two sets of steps soon breaking the silence. The first set heavy, uneven steps mingling with the lighter, quicker ones as a tall, dark figure seemingly stalked behind one other unwaveringly, scrutinizing them as a predator would watch its prey...

Curious as she always was, Elli made her way from the rooftops and began following the scent and the sounds that had drawn her over. Maybe it was something fun?

Their screams quickly died out to a low gurgle as thin, scaled tendrils armed with small barbs stretched out from his sleeves, burrowing into their flesh.

Her cat-like eyes blinked out of view every time she closed them, dimming the silvery glow that they exuded as she studied the scene. She finally raised a brow at the remaining person and sighed.
"A little bit less messy would give you a better chance at not causing a scene. Even if the streets seem empty, they never are..."

"...I've never had the luxury of learning table manners, never have, yes~"

She eyed him for a few moments before grinning. "You never know when something bigger comes along. There always is something bigger out there." She'd know.. she'd been caught plenty of times before, not all of them in a very pleasant manner.

"..Now, who might you be~?"

"If it tickles your fancy I am Ellistree of the Moonshadow House. And since you asked so nicely I suppose I should extend the courtesy hm? Who might you be?"
no subject
"The name is Kurtis-Rutgar Jones, if I remember it right.." He sighed a little.
no subject
"Well you definitely sound like a Rutgar." she added, "Do you have trouble remembering perhaps?"

This, creature, however...no matter how many times he mentally flicked through any and all of the guides and texts on antediluvian horrors, eldritch gods and godspawns, or demons and devilkin...he always came up short. And he was very thorough. He would have to see for himself, it seemed.

"So you are possessed then?" she asked curiously.
no subject
"At this point, I don't really know. No matter how hard I make an effort to think back.."
Haha, you have another person who tagged you \o/
Ellistree rested her head on her hands as she looked down at him curiously. He as certainly an odd fellow.

He blinked at the approaching footsteps, glancing up with a frown. "..Is someone there..?"

"If you wish to grow out of this, if you wish to continue forward, you have to take the steps forward. Being led by a leash is no way to live."
no subject
"You seem...lost. Out of place, almost."
no subject
"Out of place? Maybe just a little, just a little.."
no subject
"And who might you be?"
no subject
"My name iss..Kurtis-Rutgar Jones..."
He then frowned. "..Is there something that I can help you with...?"
no subject
"I simply thought to sate my curiosity is all."
