(no subject)

The streets were dark, quiet, two sets of steps soon breaking the silence. The first set heavy, uneven steps mingling with the lighter, quicker ones as a tall, dark figure seemingly stalked behind one other unwaveringly, scrutinizing them as a predator would watch its prey...

There was little the Sin'dorei Prince hadn't seen before--a life of privilege paired with a love for learning and endless resources in the form of weathered tomes, ancient scrolls and thousands of years of combined knowledge from other spell casters, all at his fingertips.

This, creature, however...no matter how many times he mentally flicked through any and all of the guides and texts on antediluvian horrors, eldritch gods and godspawns, or demons and devilkin...he always came up short. And he was very thorough. He would have to see for himself, it seemed.

With steady, unhurried steps, Kael'thas followed the creature, intent on finding out just what he'd stumbled upon.

"Indeed, someone is," replied a practiced, smooth voice that held just a hint of command. Kael'thas continued walking forward, though just as before, his gait was slow and casual in nature as if he had all the time in the world.

"You seem...lost. Out of place, almost."

"I'd say. In any case, my name is Kael'thas Sunstrider." He didn't offer a hand to shake, but he offer a curt bow, one that held all the regality of the royal that he was.

"And who might you be?"

"Is there, perhaps? I wonder..." he openly questioned. The three Verdant spheres that hovered around his shoulders pulsed with fel energy as he spoke.

"I simply thought to sate my curiosity is all."
