[ Rui's annoyed. And when she's annoyed she wants to drink (among other things). And today, just her pocketflask isn't enough, so she's made her way to the tavern, sitting by the bar where she downs another drink. ]

Give me another.

[ And to herself, she mutters; ]

Stupid gender roles.

[Home, and you're now her housemate]

[ It's hot outside. Really hot. And so Rui decided that she was going to put on something lighter.

And you just barged through the door while she was changing. Why does this keep on happening to her?! ]

[ She misses home. Can you really blame her? She misses her friends. Sure, Yukihina's here, but without everyone else it's not the same.

With a sigh, she looks up at the evening sky. ]

I wonder if they're taking care of themselves properly...

[grocery store]

[Rui is shopping for dinner for her not!family. It's one of her not!children's birthday today, and she's taking great care when picking out her groceries (not that she doesn't always care about that, it's just that today is special). Even if they're not real family and just assigned, she wants the kid to have a good day.

She looks like she has a hard time choosing between what to choose for desert though. ]

Maybe something with melons..?

[ She eyes said melons. ]

Or maybe ice cream.. or both...?

[ Natsuki was looking for things to use in his baking. He had a variety of things in his basket, and some things might not really fit in, but none the less. ]

Are you making something for someone?

[ She looks over at the stranger. ]

Ah...yes. It's one of my family-member's birthday today.

[ Eyeing his basket, she blinks. ]

That's a lot of tabasco.

I see! Isn't it fun to bake things for people?

Hm? Oh, I'm going to make chocolate cakes for my siblings, so I'm shopping what we didn't have in the house!

[ She was going to answer that, but....chocolate cake...with...what, why? ]

Why would you need tabasco for that?

Because the tabasco-san give it more flavor, of course!

Tabasco...san?

Normally you don't add tabasco in a chocolate cake. People're going to choke on it.

You don't? But my chocolate cakes are really tasty!

[ She stares at him, her expression clearly saying 'are you an idiot'. ]

It doesn't really sound like it.

[ Enter cool RuiRui! ]

[ Ge don't realize that that's what the stare means. ]

They are! I'll let you try one when I'm done!

Uhhh...

[ She looks kind of worried by that.

She really can't let this kid stay this deluded.

She sighs. ] I'll teach you. How to bake properly.

[ Surprise. ]

Huh? But I know how to bake.

[ Then a wide smile. ]

I like baking with others, though.

[ Uh, yeah right... It really doesn't sound like it.

For the sake of ~~humanity~~ his not!family, she's going to teach him what not to use when you bake. ]

You can come with me to my house after you're done shopping.

[ Have some more staring, because, seriously, this guy's stupid. ]

Sure. I'm almost done too, so you won't have to wait for me.

[ She decides to make a fruit salad with ice cream. Yeah, that works. ]

[ No no, not stupid. Just innocent. ]

Picking up the fruits she'll need she heads to the cashier to pay. After paying, she checks to see if Natsuki's done. ]

[ Yup, he's done. And he is cheerfully waiting for her by the doors. ]

Let's get going then.

[ She starts to head home, assuming that he's going to follow.

Luckily, it's not that far to her house, and she opens the door to go inside and over to the kitchen. Again, assuming that Natsuki's following. ]

[ Following with a skipping in his steps~ ]

[ Well in the kitchen, she takes out what she's going to need. ]

You bring out whatever you need. And keep the tabasco packed.

[ He unpacks everything from his bag, mostly to see what he's got. Obediently, he put away the tabasco. But not the rest weird stuff. ]

[ She stares for a while.

Okay.

Her cooking can wait. She's not going to let whoever he gives the cake to die.

She comes over to her, and puts back the weird ingredients in the bag again. ]

You won't need that either.

Eh? Why? Mustard-san will be sad if I don't add it.

No. It won't.

[ She's not letting him use that. ]

But...

[ Still so confused.. ]

Okay, I'll start with the eggs then!

Yeah, you do that.

[ She pulls out a bowl for him, where he can put the ingredients. ]
