[Gabriel Cunningham isn't an active guy. A half-finished cup of coffee has now gone cold thanks to neglect, its owner having long since fallen asleep. You could wake him up, whether in-person or through phone, but he's a little unlikely to get to the latter.]

[He seems to be in an argument with his phone now. Subtle.]
Can't believe we can't just quit after being given all this cash. Is it really that much to ask for one -- two percent of what you gave us? I'm part of the world, you know!
[It's possible to divulge your own status as a participant or, more subtly, try to obtain information from him without doing so.]

[Gabe's equivalent of a battle post is done with a stethoscope. If you've been feeling sick, then it is inevitable he'll be recommended at some point.]
Good morning. Didn't keep you waiting, did I?

Uh, financial troubles?

[Gabe looks over at the man. To someone as used to liars as Phoenix, there's something about his reaction that would seem a little fake. This may have very well been an attempt to contact other participants in person, but he doesn't seem to recognize Phoenix as one.]
Something like that. Just trying to sort things out with an acquaintance of mine.
[Not 'friend'. Not even while lying. Not ever.]

Sounds tricky. On the other hand, it sounds like too MUCH rather than too little. Wouldn't that be nice?

It all depends on who it ends up belonging to, though. And with all the bureaucracy going around these days? Sometimes you can't even tell.

Time for the litmus test.

She starts poking him at the sides.]
Erm. Hey. Guy. 'Scuse me?

[He snaps awake.]
...Can I help you?
[As if he had never dozed off at all.]

[Not that this is the time for breakfast anyway.]
Lucky you didn't snore otherwise we really would've had to kick you out.

[Eugh. Doctors. Can't trust them.]
Work a lot with needles, dontcha?

Surgeon and nurse territory, kid. Happy to say I'm neither.
[Yeah, that's a good idea, Gabe. Be funny with the person who delivers your food.]

[Come on, Excel. You ever see House using a needle?]
2; HAVE MY KEYSMASH I hope I'm not butchering the game's idea.
[Is it supposed to be a secret? Maybe it's not a good idea to walk around telling complete strangers about sudden fortunes, but with friends it should be safe.
It's not like he's spectacular at the subtlety thing, either.]You are my hero.
[In all honesty, Gabe already suspects his friend of being in the same situation as him. Since they're both from a world different to this one, it seems the most likely possibility. He still hasn't approached the subject though, since it's such a bizarre set of circumstances.]
Well... how to explain this...
[His phone is snap shut, giving Hank a clear view of it. If he can recognize the distinctive design of Noblesse phones, then this will get a whole lot more simple.]
Like Captain Eagle?
So it's the same thing.
Like Captain Eagle.
I keep thinking, isn't it a better idea for them to give the money to a hospital, rather than a single doctor?
...A better idea for them, I mean.
Excellent. FOR LOVE AND JUSTICE.
Hrm...Perhaps they think that we could use it more creatively, or with less bureaucracy. Think of the research you could do with a budget like that!
[He may or may not have other ideas, but if Gabe's here too then the vigilante option isn't looking so good.]

Well, hey, can't argue with that. If there's one thing you can count on me for, it's staying away from politics.
Maybe we actually could get some widespread progress through research... but it'll have to be pretty innovative to meet the demands of whoever is behind this.
