[It's been a few weeks since Harry arrived in town and he's enjoying the idea of having an older brother as well as a family that doesn't keep in him in a cupboard. He has his own bedroom and everything! So today he's out in the park, just realising what it means to be happy.]

[B - Action - 754 Partridge Drive]
Um...Akira? [He was still getting used to having people he can ask for help.] Do you think you could help me with my homework?

[Lily's normally pleasant to the drone children, even if it's mostly out of pity than concern. The boy doesn't stand out in the park, but he looks alarmingly familiar.]

You're here on your own?

[scarredglasses]

[Harry turned and look at the woman. The first thing he noticed was her eyes. Then he nodded.]

Well, my "brother" is around somewhere. I'm just exploring.

[bespell]

[It's not a "Yes, ma'am! Oh gee, I shouldn't be talking to strangers!", so she frowns slightly, leaning back on her swing.] That's good, then. You're too young to be on your own, and this town can be dangerous.

[scarredglasses]

So I've heard but I haven't been here long so I guess I wouldn't know.

[bespell]

Well, now you know, I guess. Just be careful when there's no one you know around.

[scarredglasses]

I don't know most people here. But I'd like to. Better than home.

[bespell]

[Leaning forward, Lily grasps the swing chain on either side for balance as she peers into Harry's eyes.]

Ah, we have the same eyes, did you know?

[scarredglasses]

Yeah. I noticed. Coincidence, huh?

[bespell]

I guess this means we could be friends. I'm Lily, by the way.

[scarredglasses]

Nice to meet you, Lily. I'm Harry.

[bespell]

No we're not strangers any more. Isn't that better?

[scarredglasses]

I wasn't worried.

[bespell]

But now I don't have to call you the boy with the glasses.

That must get boring after a while.

[scarredglasses]

Yeah. I prefer Harry.

And I don't have to call you the girl with the red hair, either.

[bespell]

Do you want to have a swing match with me? My friend's absolutely miserable at it.

[scarredglasses]

Sure. I'll give it a go. Never had much practice though.

[But he climbs on beside her and kicks off, making himself sway to and fro.]

[bespell]

[Still better than James, who only gets himself tangled in the chains. Lily kicks her longer legs against the dirt, careful not to go too fast at first.]

[scarredglasses]

[Harry's grown up a Muggle so he knows how to use a swing. He manages to get up a rhythm but doesn't seem to be going very high yet.]

[bespell]

Careful, or I might actually beat you in this!

[scarredglasses]

No way! [Harry finally grinned and started doing his best to beat her.]

[bespell]

Watch me! [She waits for Harry to match her pace for a little while, kicking to accelerate just slightly when he does.]

[scarredglasses]

[Harry keeps kicking, watching Lily and copying her so he can try and match or beat her speed and height.]

[bespell]

[She looks down, hiding a smile as their pace finally is even. It's not her intention to actually beat him in a swing race, but she doesn't want to tire him out, either.] It almost feels like flying, doesn't it?

[scarredglasses]

Yeah! [It's a great feeling and he's enjoying it thoroughly even if he doesn't win.]
