[[It's actually very informative, if not boring. Mentions of revolutionary Heero Yuy as well as Factions like Oz, Zeon, and even outsiders like the Jupitarians come into play. It seems "Duo" is trying to get a point across, but, afterward, the teacher expresses that the assignment was supposed to be on the agricultural advances since colonization. Way to fail.]]

(2) [Let's Pretend gym class]
[[Still fronting under the pseudonym of "Duo", Heero is schooling a group of everyday kids at basketball. However, feeling he's making it unfair for the regular team, he moves on to sinning some fencing gear. Challenge him to either!]]

(3) [Let's Pretend mecha combat]
[[You, or your objective, are pinned down by those explosive paper dolls known as Leos. It's when the legendary Wing Gundam descends and tears a hole in their numbers that they let up, and turn to fixes on it. Cries of "Its a Gundam" ring out, regardless of what you're piloting. Maybe the presence of a second Gundam is a problem.]]

Target reached. Damage within expected levels.

(4) [Let's Pretend something silly]

[[If only to deal with this with the least amount of complications, someone decidedthat the mystery boy's birthday was today. He's forced to sit ay the head of the table, cone hat strapped to his head, cake candles lit, and a terribly wrapped present nearby that's clearly a 1/100 PG Wing Zero Custom (EW).]]

Though she turns the gun arm toward a Leo heading for her and the medical supply ship that she's trying to protect and... Yeah less than impressive explosion that probably only blinded the Leo pilot. Hey! SHe pulled a Trowa okay, all her good ammo's spent!]

[[Good job. You're now a liability.]]

It you can't fire properly, retreat. I'll handle the mission from here.

[[The gundam pulls a beam saber with little flourish, and makes pathetic work of a flight-type.]]

[oh have a glare, though she's already on com telling the co pilot to move.]

Tch, fine, break us a hole through them and we'll finish our part of the mission.

[She's going to act pissed, but she's actually glad you showed up. After all she really has no place on the battle field.]

Mission confirmed.

[[You want a hole, miss? Wing's Buster Rifle makes a nice big hole in their forces for you.]]

[Hey no complaints this time, though she does almost lose footing on the ship.]

Nice shot kid, see ya on the ground!

[Sora's own report is in front of her; it looks thick, but it seems the teacher will need a moment to get over Heero's paper before he's ready to move on.]

That was really good. I didn't realize some of that stuff between Oz and Zeon... and that Heero Yuy is a legend. Too bad the teacher's gonna mark you down...

[She seems almost sad about it.] I'm gonna work even harder on the next one so you don't steal all the thunder, Duo! [A fire is lit in the former student council president's eyes.]

[[Heero just sits back down, and waits a moment.]]

I'll kill you.

W-what!? [Clearly she wasn't expecting a death threat quite so early in the morning.]

((This one was a joke reply. I didn't expect a real tag to it. You know... it's Heero's trope.))

It doesn't take much to look into it. The issue is that since it happened before "our generation", most of our age group don't know about these things, given few enough of them regularly travel between the surface and the colonies.

Mm, that's true. A lot of teenagers don't even care about what's going on around them - especially after Second Impact - so why care about the colonies? That's still a good set of research notes, though.

If people don't start paying attention, what battles are already going on in the wastelands of our world are going to spill over into the little pockets of peace left.

If the separation of Earth and Colonies persist, we're going to see a much larger tragedy than the One Year War.

[Somewhere in the back of the classroom, when Heero gives his name, there is the quiet sound of a pencil snapping in two.]

[The next person starts giving their report. After about how long it would take for someone to discreetly shift seats, someone pokes Heero in the back of the head while speaking quietly.]

"Duo Maxwell"? Really, Heero?

[[And he sits there, not flinching, but speaking in the real Duo's direction.]]

Heero Yuy. [This was unexpected, but most certainly not unwelcome.] Phase 1 complete, moving on to Phase 2 of mission plan. Commencing. [off flies the light of the double-oh into the breach, but the Leos are starting to form up behind him. Do something, Heero!]

Phase two, initiated.

[[Hiiro (because I like this spelling more now) does nothing for the longest time. He actively let's the Leos pile up until they're all in pursuit.]]

Firing. [[This is your warning before the Buster Rifle's shot blazes through each and every Leo, but the 00 is still in the expected line of fire.]]
