[ For a rich kid, he's awkwardly stand-offish. Maybe he's just shell-shocked from what happened earlier, but ever since he's been on the White Chalice, he's been seated in the cafeteria, quietly eating his food, and trying his hardest not to make eye contact with anyone. Otherwise, his posture is perfect, and he's using two forks, one knife, and one spoon, and a napkin spread out over his lap. But somehow, he doesn't quite look like Perrine.
If someone approaches, he looks up and awkwardly smiles in greeting without a word, and just goes back to eating. ]
Two

I've never piloted a Gundam before... or, well, anything, really.
[ Even if it's just an I-SAVIOR. However, it had obviously been modified, with several detachable protrusions, all lined with tiny, protruding half-spheres, all bearing the IDS logo. The young pilot then reached into his blazer pocket, and withdrew what looked like a USB flashdrive. He then stuck it into a slot in the control console. He then flipped a few switches as the program began loading. ]
Installing... establishing uplink with the White Rabbit... bringing the Vector network online... okay. It's all you, ALICE.
[ He'd never seen her in combat beforethat he knows of, anyway. Several lines on the Vector Bit pods began glowing. He strapped himself into the mobile suit's pilots chair, waiting for ALICE to take over. She said she'd appear as a hologram right there in the cockpit with him, so... ]
Three

Damn it!
[ Nerd rage. He and several others had been making use of a Dan terminal, now co-opted by ALICE, to play video games in the lounge. And she was kicking all their asses. Worse? Caulder was in last place.
Feel free to gloat. Because whoever you are, you're beating him. ]

[And indeed, there she is, sitting on the side of the cockpit.]
Are you familiar with our enemies?
no subject
[ He's nervous, obviously. His first time actually fighting, and despite the fact that ALICE swore up and down she wouldn't let him get hurt, it's hard not to be a little anxious. ]
But you'll know anyway once you get in their computers, won't you?
no subject
[She looks out over the battlefield.]
These are Sutherlands, basic Fifth Generation Knightmare Frames. They're smaller and more numerous than us, but they don't have nearly the firepower of our beam rifle, or the Gundam's speed. Even though they're smaller, the gundam's thin armor means they're only a little bit less tough than us...While the buildings here will give us cover, they're built for urban warfare, so you need to be careful
Sensors are picking up four enemy combatants so far. Shall I begin?
no subject
[ He turned to look at her hologram as she began speaking. Knightmare Frames... so, these are fellow Brittanians. Well, if Brittania didn't hate him for siding with the White Chalice, they were going to now. Oh well... too late now. They probably blame him for Caulder, Sr.'s death anyway. ]
Yeah. Let's do it. [ Something a bit more suggestive than he intended. He primed the beam rifle, and prepped the vector bits for launch. ] Only four... well, that shouldn't be too bad, if we're way faster than them.
no subject
[Suddenly, her mood brightens. She starts floating happily.]
I got one! And...infospheres cracked. There's five enemy combatants, one has a heavy bazooka...No dedicated squad leader. This one really likes Lacus Clyne....
[Dots show up on the HUD, showing the location of all the KMFs. One has "Baz" next to it.]
Monitoring their comms...two are gonna come in from the right, one is gonna go through the garage in front of us, and the my plant and his partner are gonna from the left. Your plan, Caulder?
no subject
[ They started popping up all over his radar. There was at least twelve of them in all. ]
Well, I've never seen what all you're really capable of. Scramble that one's radar, I'll see if I can take care of one in the garage. See if you can blind him for me so he doesn't see me coming.
[ He gets out the beam rifle, and utilizes the scope. He's never done it before, but it's... surprisingly easy to try to snipe it from his position on top of a building, as the I-SAVIOR laid prone. If ALICE was helping him aim, he didn't want to know. ]
Wow. Hey, I got him! [ It then exploded. ] ... oh... I killed him.
no subject
Enemy sensor net down, the units I hit are now shooting their former comrades, enemy communication system now flooded with Mizu no Akashi on maximum volume, auto-tuned to sound entirely ear grating, moving bits to engage bandits 6 through 10...
[The garage-bound enemy is shot down.]
Ah, don't worry about it, Caulder. This is a battlefield, after all! They're all trying to kill you, so disabling them as fast as possible is important. It's okay if you hurt them in the process.
no subject
Wow... nice job.
[ He almost didn't have to do anything except... what did Gainer call it...? Oh, right 'camping.' He turned his beam sniper rifle on another Knightmare Frame. ]
I guess it can't be helped, right?
[ He sighs. ]
At least it was probably quick, with that explosion...
[ He then pulls the trigger of the beam sniper rifle, hitting this next Knightmare Frame square in the chest. With ALICE messing with their sensors, this one didn't see it coming. ]
no subject
[She watches a beam lance straight through that KMF.]
Nice shot!
no subject
[ He blushed at her compliment, but had to adjust his own expression to this ever-so-cocky face. ]
W-Well yeah! I know how to use these things. It's just like in my video games!
[ ... no, not really. But he needs the confidence boost. ]
no subject
Oh, and bandits 6 and 8 eliminated.
no subject
How many are left? Shouldn't we try to get in touch with the White Chalice?
no subject
...Perhaps...
no subject
I trust you, ALICE. [ His voice is shaking a bit, but she promised him she'd keep him safe, and he believed her. ] Can you take care of the two coming from the northeast?
no subject
...We will win. Definitely.
[That uncertainty in her voice before? It's gone now. A series of dots flash up directly on Caulder's view of the surroundings, marking the precise locations of the remaining enemies.]
These buildings aren't very durable...you can shoot through them and still disable the targets.
no subject
O-Okay. [ A deep breath. He then switches the optics to thermal vision. ] Line 'em up for me.
[ And just like that, he shoots another Knightmare Frame, right through the wall of the parking garage. This one went through its side, from its shoulder down to the opposite hip. It exploded instantly. ]
Ha! Got him!
no subject
[A pair of lights next to each other goes out, no doubt the work of Alice's influence on their mecha.]
Now there's just five...We can do it!
no subject
Hey, nice! Okay... just a little closer... a little closer... gotcha!
[ He then shot another one, this time through another building. Of course, he made sure there were no civilians in the way, but now someone had a burnt hole through their wall and floors. ]
no subject
Now there's just...huh?
I've...lost track of bandit 12, 10, and 9...
no subject
W-Whaa!? [ They vanished off his radar. ] A-Are they resisting you?! [ Crap. Panicking. ]
O-Okay... umm... switching rooftops!
[ The nice thing about the I-SAVIOR is that it's WAY faster than a Knightmare Frame, even if it's a bigger target. The I-SAVIOR jumped to its feet, and Caulder hit the boost, moving to another rooftop. He saw one more KMF, and tries to line up a shot. Unfortunately, he's not a very good pilot; the shot missed by a lot, as he landed. ]
T-They're getting closer!
no subject
[The I-savior comes under fire from all sides, including that remaining KMF. Caulder might notice that it's missing its head now.]
Calm down! I won't allow anyone to hurt you. Just track them and line up the shot.
no subject
[ For technically being a Gundam, the I-SAVIOR's armor is pathetic. He takes cover behind a raised portion in the roof of the building. ]
O-Okay... main camera's out, but I still have the thermal sensors... aha! There!
[ Another beam shot through the wall and rooftop of the building, and he downs another KMF. But there's another signal on his radar coming after them, fast. ]
A-ALICE, what's that?
no subject
They've taken out most of their comms and sensors so I can't hack them...that radar signature is probably-
[They come under fire again, this time from a unit using its Slash Harkens to cling to the side of another office building. The left arm is destroyed!]
no subject
[ He barely even hears what ALICE says. He tries to turn the I-SAVIOR around to fire at the new target, but without that other arm, it's a bad miss. He drops the beam rifle, and instead reaches for the beam saber. ]
U-Uh, launching Vector Bits... no way, I'm not dying out here...
[ He starts panicking just a bit more. ALICE, you ready? ]
no subject
[The I-savior suddenly rights itself mid-air and charges, its beam shield flicking on and blocking the Sutherland's shots. It lands on the side of the building with as much grace as a 20-meter robot can, steadying itself with a hand and both feet while it stabs straight through the cockpit. Alice doesn't wait for any sort of explosion, and heads off right away for the next foe.]
I won't let you.
[She puts away the beam saber and grabs the rifle again without slowing down. The I-savior flies right over that office building they were on, and sends a shot straight through a Knightmare Frame on the ground. It comes to a stop on the street, crouching behind a storefront.]
One left...
no subject
[ He can't believe what the I-SAVIOR is doing. Is... is this him, or is this... is this ALICE? ]
W-Wow...
[ That's just brutal. HE, or ALICE, is tearing through them like tissue paper. ]
O-One more... okay. Let's finish him off!
no subject
[The I-Savior flies high up into the air, making itself plainly obvious...but when the last KMF opens fire, it ducks out of the way and starts speeding around behind buildings.]
Caulder, hold on tight. This will be rough.
[That's all the warning he gets before the suit goes into a dead stop, then boosts up and over a nearby building. The last knightmare frame is now below them, and the I-savior rockets down to crush the tiny unit. Alice fires the beam rifle into the Sutherland just as she lands on it, which is both exceedingly cool and kind of excessive.]
All targets eliminated. Let's go retrieve that arm and head on home.
no subject
ALICE was an amazing pilot. Figures that his dad would program such amazing piloting ability into what was otherwise a cyberwarfare program... or maybe ALICE hacked a bunch of black boxes of ace pilots? Best not to look a gift horse in the mouth either way. ]
C-Careful! [ And then, he hears a sickening crunch as the I-SAVIOR's talent-like foot destroys the MKF, with the added overkill of the beam rifle. ]
W-Wow... [ Gasping for breath from the adrenaline rush. ] W-We did it. And we didn't even need backup!
