Today we're practicing intercepts. You know the drill by now, break off into groups and get started.

[He's occasionally offering tips and advice, but otherwise standing aside and letting his team do their own thing for now. If you wanted to talk to him about something while everyone else is distracted, now would be a good time to do it.]

[Welcome to the late night show. It's 2AM, and you're pretty sure some kind of ominous dark shape is following you. Just as you decide to do something (whether that's hide in a trashcan, run screaming, or turn around to kick ass is up to you), A glowing blue sword shaped like a stylized leaf swishes out of the darkness above and pierces the ominous monster of the week with a THUNK sound. A second later, Mr. Eglamore drops down from above to reclaim his weapon.]

Didn't expect to see anyone out here. Are you alright?

[Audio, to hide the various bruises and cuts he got during the chaos the other night]
Thanks to certain parties who will remain nameless, the enemy now knows we've been using that warehouse downtown as a meeting place. This isn't a game, people. No one got captured or badly hurt this time, but next time we might not get so lucky.

[Then a private aside to YOU.]

That was very stupid, but...very brave. I don't supposed I can convince you to leave the heavy lifting to me next time, though?

It's skin or whatever was too thick for my knives so I had to improvise.

Next time you can lend me one of your glowing sword things.

I've only got the own glowing sword, but I've got a couple of regular ones.

Everyone made it out. The "okay" bit is a little harder to go with.

How bad was it?

Aside from various bruises and scrapes, we've got a broken arm and a broken leg, and one concussion. A bad one. Because we were disorganized and didn't have an exit plan.

[Yeah, okay, that's... pretty bad. She took a few hits but nothing broken or concussed and she's got pewter burning to deal with that.]

That's getting to be a problem. I guess it could have been worse though.

A lot worse. Half the people on this network are practically children.

Some of them are very scary, powerful children, but even so...

[From his tone he doesn't seem to be counting Vanessa as being in the younger half, at least.]

[At nineteen she's not exactly in the higher age group of the network but she's still got a few years on a lot of the younger crowd. Still, it's probably not hard to tell that she hasn't been a "child" for awhile.]

And some more of them are idiots.

I guess we need a new meeting place now. Any suggestions?

I haven't thought that through yet, but we have options. Ideally either some place that constantly has lots of people coming in and out, or some place that no one pays attention to at all. If it's owned by someone on the network, so much the better.
