The Rokugahara Shogunate is allowed to govern Yamato on a provisional basis, overseen by the GHQ so that they do not abuse their people too much. I happen to work for the GHQ. And these soldiers here arrived in town six months ago to defend against bandits. They succeeded, but have been forcing the villagers to hand over food, women, and their houses long after the threat has past.

I asked the soldiers to leave, and their commander was...less than receptive. But in the end, the guilty were punished. A happy ending for us all.
