[There was a mood. It could have been intense, serious, heroic, or maybe touching and emotional (Just nothing too depressing please).

Then the mood was instantly broken because Izuru made a stupidly cliche or otherwise unfitting comment.]

[And he starts to realize it.]

[Whatever you're fighting, the combat is going badly. Which is a shame because there's something at stake here - civilian lives, an important installation, something like that. Command gave orders to retreat - but Red Five is hesitating.]

I know. I know it makes sense to fall back right now, and I know that I'm no hero yet.

But... But if I do that, I won't be able to face those people when I return!

I'm sorry! Red Five, taking off!

[Right into the fray he goes! But what's this, Izuru's AHSMB moves with speed and precision like never before! Is this heroic willpower in action?]

I'm going to survive Izuru. They aren't!

[Pale Rider takes several hits, losing a chunk of its head in the process... however Leos ignores that, repeatedly slamming his AC's left fist into one of the aggressors with its laser blade active before smashing it aside with its right hand - the now drained laser rifle getting destroyed in the process.]

People like this... I can't stand them. I WON'T LET THEM THINK THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY PLEASE!!!

Watch out for damage, that's too much!

[Red Five moves in closer - its chain sword slashing up and down to make mincemeat out of enemies as it goes, then Izuru creates a veritable barrage of suppression fire at the remaining foes.]

[The most Izuru gets in reply is a downright enraged scream from Leos as he takes another hit - losing one of his AC's arms and the rest of its head. Sparks were practically raining from the numerous holes and shredded joints.]

This won't stop me... none of this is going to stop me... NONE OF IT!!!

[The AC rears up and fires a barrage of missiles from the back mounted launchers at the suppressed targets. In fact if any of the enemies tried to retreat they were still getting bombarded!]

Leos?! Leos! Please calm yourself!

I don't NEED to be calm! I need them to die!

[All out of ammo, and the damage had all but forced Leos' AC to drop to one leg. Sadly this did not at all assist Izuru's request. Leos was just doing the opposite as he hammered at his controls as if that would make everything better.]

MOVE! MOVE YOU STUPID PIECE OF JUNK!!! MOVE!!!!

[Yeah no. Izuru, you're treated to the sight of Pale Rider struggling to stand only to crash on its side. This may be a wee bit problematic.]

Mr Leos! Snap out of it, look!

[No enemies remain around them. Or... anywhere in vincinity, in fact. Following the push, other allies moved in and swept the area.]

[Yeah Leos actually calms down at that, shivering a little in place as he got a good look around.]

[He curls up in his pilot seat, given his lack of mobility he doubt he could make his way back on his own right now anyway.]
