[Whatever you're fighting, the combat is going badly. Which is a shame because there's something at stake here - civilian lives, an important installation, something like that. Command gave orders to retreat - but Red Five is hesitating.]

[And heading straight for a swarm of battlepods *and* a capital ship. Heroes don't get it easy, Izuru!]

I won't leave a lot of people to die! And if I can just take down this battleship...

[Red Five starts wildly juking to evade enemy gunfire as it draws in closer to its target. Also those battlepods start to explode as Izuru counters with energy shots of his own.]

Then everyone will be saved!

[And yet more pods come to replace the destroyed ones, and more and more missiles start coming

[Misa stops somewhat-then regains her cool. Izuru's not supposed to be able to do that..but he is, and the enemy's not slacking off, so that means-]

Regroup, wait until they're thrown into disarray, then flank them from two direction while they are focused on Red Five.

[Izuru's not the only one moving with more speed and precision. Leos' AC seems to be moving in a far more frenzied manner, if Izuru's was heroic willpower then Leos' was berserk wrath as it pushed into close combat at every possible oppertunity.]

They need to die for thinking they can do this. They all do! I'll stop them! I'LL STOP THEM ALL DEAD IN THEIR TRACKS!!!

[Izuru is surprised at first but quickly notices that the Armored Core pilot is in some kind of berserker rage.]

Please calm yourself, if we are to win we need to survive this both, for sure!

[Pale Rider takes several hits, losing a chunk of its head in the process... however Leos ignores that, repeatedly slamming his AC's left fist into one of the aggressors with its laser blade active before smashing it aside with its right hand - the now drained laser rifle getting destroyed in the process.]

People like this... I can't stand them. I WON'T LET THEM THINK THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY PLEASE!!!

[She's trying to keep up now, but holy heck that AHSMB is fast.]

It wasn't moving like that before...how...?

[Clash! Izuru enters melee with the first line of foes - but his unit spins while striking, shoots beam rounds from the chain sword/gun, and continues forward!]

It's reckless either way, but this might just be what we need...

[Maria's white Temjin follows suit- displaying its trademark agility by destroying its opponents - which are Virtuaroids sporting black and red paint schemes contrasting with her own - while maneuvering around them.

It also swings the weapon twice to launch a pair of crescent energy waves that slice through some beams and solid projectiles headed for Izuru. Curiously, these sword waves don't do much damage to the enemy even with a direct hit, but at least the projectiles are taken care of.]

I'm right behind you, Red Five. Don't overdo it! The Shadows take any opening they can get!
