Gold Four, Taking The Shot! (SRWU Testrun)
(OOC: Apologies for lack of icons, just trying to get this character going before the mission)
[1]
[One would probably hope to get some downtime in between missions, given all the world saving and bad guy fighting, but...]
If I had to describe you in as few words as possible... it would be that you are like the low-orbit impacter system, a powerful presence that peacefully waits above all the world, until you detect a threat and proceed to unload your arsenal of 36 long range missiles. No man can avert your effective range of 12,000 kilometres, and your precision is comparable only to only the latest in laser targeting, capable of accounting for planetary rotation and the delay from the incredible but nevertheless limited speed of light!
[If you're female, you've unfortunately got Ataru in your face, a curved smile on his lips.]
[2]
Amazing! I'd heard about this sort of thing, but to see it up close... Hey, hey, what kind of power plant do you use? I mean, the base assumption a lot of people would have is a straight up fission reactor, but I'm not sure that'd have enough output or efficiency. So what do you use?
[Ataru's asking around the hangar looking at the various machines, somewhat relaxed, but clearly excited by the sheer variety and scale of things. He leans slightly on a railing as he awaits an answer, ready to jot things down on a small datapad.]
[3]
Hmm... No movement yet.
[Pretty close to enemy territory here, with Gold Four crouched down on an asteroid as it scopes things out. The plan is to ambush a supposed patrol that will pass through here, but the waiting makes things all rather tense.]
Remember, try not to stray too far, and wait for my opening shot.

How did you know I have missiles?
[This kid... is he a spy? How else would he know about all the dakka Chris carries in battle?]
Re: 1
[Ataru blinks, pretty sure that wasn't quite what he meant... Before he looks down a bit, and seems to nod in mild understanding.]
Oh, well, you dress like that, and its a bit obvious really.

[He said that a little too cheerfully...]

[Chris's face turns all red. Is this because she's angry or embarassed?
Why not both?]
Don't talk shit!
[Pow! An open-handed chop delivered as immediate punishment right at Suruga's forehead.]
no subject
Ah... ah...
[Ataru stares at the hand that just struck him straight between the eyes, before collapsing backwards in stunned pain.]

[Chris departs in a huff, still angry. Stupid tsundere shanenigans.
She totally forgot about considering Ataru a spy, though.]

[No, Asagi is not the one being interrogated. Asking about other AHSMBs would just be silly, come on! But he's watching from the sidelines.]
Leave these poor guys alone. They've got work to do, you know.

Here it starts. Damn.

[Has Cathy even seen this guy before? Did she lose a bet or make a dare she'd forgotten about?]
Re: 1
[No, no you haven't. Which probably makes it all worse.]

...Have you mixed me up with my sister, or did someone somehow convince you this was a good way to impress women? Because, sorry to break it to you, that wouldn't work on her either. I can't think of anyone it would work on.
[Cathy remembers some of her robotics course classmates.]
...Okay, no, I can, actually. I don't see any of them appreciating being hit on by someone who looks my little sisters' age, though.

[...Though, he does perk up an eyebrow.]
You mentioned a sister though...?

Who I can confirm is also definitely not interested.
You know online dating's a thing, right? You could try finding someone with shared interests. Who you can speak to more than, ah, never before busting out what I assume was intended as a pickup line.
If you're here, I'm assuming you pilot something. That should actually count in your favour with a lot of people.

[The strange pink-haired cellist asks in the kindest, gentlest voice she can.]
Re: 1
[Well, looks like Kanae's not the only one who's confused now.]
Re: 1
You are familiar with that as well, yes?
Re: 1
[Ataru finds himself feeling a bit small all of a sudden.]
Re: 1
[Kanae being almost six feet tall probably doesn't help.]
Re: 1
[Ataru backs off ever so slightly, gulping a bit.]
B-But I could maybe check with some contacts about setting you up with a wider variety of ammunition, so you can... adapt. Change for your comfort and pleasure, you know?
Re: 1
Oh, really? You'd do that? For me?
Re: 1
[Ataru's twitching. Never in his wildest dreams was this actually possible.]
D-Don't suppose you'd be willing to pay me back somehow? N-Not that it'd be soon or anything!
Re: 1
And...I'm sure I can think of something to reward you. A special present, just for you...
Re: 1
[One can almost see a trail of smoke as he runs off around the nearest corner!]
