Gold Four, Taking The Shot! (SRWU Testrun)

(OOC: Apologies for lack of icons, just trying to get this character going before the mission)

[1]

[One would probably hope to get some downtime in between missions, given all the world saving and bad guy fighting, but...]

If I had to describe you in as few words as possible... it would be that you are like the low-orbit impacter system, a powerful presence that peacefully waits above all the world, until you detect a threat and proceed to unload your arsenal of 36 long range missiles. No man can avert your effective range of 12,000 kilometres, and your precision is comparable only to only the latest in laser targeting, capable of accounting for planetary rotation and the delay from the incredible but nevertheless limited speed of light!

[If you're female, you've unfortunately got Ataru in your face, a curved smile on his lips.]

[2]

Amazing! I'd heard about this sort of thing, but to see it up close... Hey, hey, what kind of power plant do you use? I mean, the base assumption a lot of people would have is a straight up fission reactor, but I'm not sure that'd have enough output or efficiency. So what do you use?

[Ataru's asking around the hangar looking at the various machines, somewhat relaxed, but clearly excited by the sheer variety and scale of things. He leans slightly on a railing as he awaits an answer, ready to jot things down on a small datapad.]

[3]

Hmm... No movement yet.

[Pretty close to enemy territory here, with Gold Four crouched down on an asteroid as it scopes things out. The plan is to ambush a supposed patrol that will pass through here, but the waiting makes things all rather tense.]

Remember, try not to stray too far, and wait for my opening shot.

...Have you mixed me up with my sister, or did someone somehow convince you this was a good way to impress women? Because, sorry to break it to you, that wouldn't work on her either. I can't think of anyone it would work on.

[Cathy remembers some of her robotics course classmates.]

...Okay, no, I can, actually. I don't see any of them appreciating being hit on by someone who looks my little sisters' age, though.

Who I can confirm is also definitely not interested.

You know online dating's a thing, right? You could try finding someone with shared interests. Who you can speak to more than, ah, never before busting out what I assume was intended as a pickup line.

If you're here, I'm assuming you pilot something. That should actually count in your favour with a lot of people.
