A) Phone Call

Hey! This is a public service announcement, so listen up! For anyone who doesn't know-- I mean, if you've been sittin' around with your fingers in your ears or something-- Elvis Presley's gonna be on Ed Sullivan this Sunday! This kid's gonna be big. I mean, really big, I can tell! You're not gonna want to miss it! Everyone's invited to my place if you don't have a TV of your own!

B) Action: Olney's Tavern

[It hadn't taken America long to scope out the town and get a feel for the layout of it-- it was very much one of his, after all. And as such, it hadn't taken him long to find his way to Olney's Tavern. It was nice to kick back with the guys after work and actually, for once, feel like you were truly one of them. For one thing, he finally had a wife to complain about! EVen if she actually seemed pretty swell so far.]

Hey! I'm in a good mood tonight, so drinks are on me! As long as you can tell me what you're drinkin' to.

[It's pretty hard not to notice when America enters pretty much any place ever. Lithuania smiles at the younger nation.]

I don't know if I'm really drinking to anything. What about you?

[Drinking to distract himself from Mayfield was something Lithuania had been doing a bit more than he would have liked to admit to, lately. America wasn't really the type to notice, though, so Lithuania was sure he wouldn't have to worry about being called on anything.]

[Yeah, unfortunately America has yet to even notice what kind of place Mayfield really is; Lithuania definitely doesn't have anything to worry about for the moment.]

How about to my new family?

[America's enthusiasm is nice, as far as Lithuania is concerned.]

You got a good one? I'm glad. Sometimes the families here can be really strange.

Well I'm still getting to know 'em-- haha, isn't that a trip? Getting to know your family?-- but they seem pretty swell so far.

I've always wondered what it was like having kids, y'know? My own kids, I mean.

[Lithuania's smile is a touch fonder at the mention; he's really gotten attached to his two assigned daughters.]

Sometimes it is really nice, just to have a sort of normal family.

[Of course, one of his daughters is associated with a lot of magical girls, and the other is a Pokemon trainer. Then again Lithuania's standards when it comes to normal are pretty warped.]

I'm sure you'll be good friends with them soon enough.

[America raises his glass, gesturing it at Lithuania.]

I'll drink to that.

[vytis]

[Lithuania mimics the gesture with his own glass.]

Have you been getting used to everything else here? Though I'm sure it's not too difficult for you.

[redwhiteandhero]

[America takes a moment to reply, as he's busy taking a long drink from his glass. After a moment he puts it back down and lets out a satisfied sigh.]

Just like being at home. Only I get to relax sometimes.

I suppose it is pretty quiet for now, at least...

[Not that Lithuania expects that to last for long. He sips from his glass, but only because he's had a few already and doesn't really want to get drunk while talking to America or anything.]

[C'mon, that would make things more fun.]

Kinda like a nice little vacation away from politics.
