[In a moderately busy area of town, there's a bit of an altercation going on - some local tough guy is roughing up a priestly-looking fellow. He looks a bit worse for the wear, and could probably use a little help with the way the guy's laying into him.]

[While out and about, you spot a young man who is peering curiously around the area as he walks - and once he sees that you've noticed him, he approaches you!]
Pardon me - I could use a little help. I'm rather lost, and I'm trying to find the capital building. This city is just a bit tricky to navigate! [He chuckles a bit awkwardly, rubbing the back of his head.]

[For whatever reason, you suspect that Xellos here is a suspicious fellow - perhaps even a spy for an enemy country! However, he seems quite calm about this accusation, and shrugs while smiling politely - even if you've got a weapon drawn on him.]
I haven't the faintest clue what you're talking about - I'm just a wandering priest, so I'm afraid you're quite mistaken.

[She starts rolling up her sleeves.]
You've gotta rough 'em up a bit first.

[He's backing up a bit now. After all, a totally innocent man of the cloth would not resist something like this, right?]
no subject
[She's gonna feel pretty silly if she's wrong here, but eh, the mini-hakkero PROBABLY won't kill him. Chargin' mah lazer!]

This is not the proper way of doing things in any place I've visited... Are you certain you want to be saddled with the charge of assaulting someone?

[Think fast, Xellos.]

[And he will, though he'll look quite panicked by the outlash. His arms cross in front of him defensively, and the strike appears to hit with a flash of light. Xellos tumbles backward from the impact, appearing to be singed all over.]

Externally, however, he coughed, waving off dust and smoke, and generally looked rather frazzled.]
Miss, there's really nothing to confess to! I'm a simple priest - people confess to me!

Now now, it's not good just go and believe everything you hear. After all, not everyone who claims to follow the ways of justice are good people!

Hey you!... [rushes over and launches into a vertical spiral feet first, feet slamming firmly into the angry guys gut. The impact launching the guy head over heels into a nearby stand ,she lands and slowly gets back up and looks at her target.] That's what you get for messing with defenseless people, now begone from my sight or face more of my wrath. [The guy scurries off like a dog with his tail between it's legs. She turns to the priestly looking person and glances at them to see if there are any serious injuries.]
You alright lady? Your not hurt are you?

While I'm certainly thankful for the offer, miss, are you quite certain you'll be able to discern threats properly?

I'm going to ask this as politely as possible, please don't question my abilities, i'm more then capable of handling vermin like that.
[she picks up a fallen apple of the ground from the broken stand that she kicked the rouge into, she examines it and brushes off any dirt before she takes out one of her flower kunai's and cuts the apple into 6 slices, she bites into one before looking at the strange man again, holding a slice out for him to have]
if you don't mind me asking whats your name and what are you doing in a place like this?
no subject
[He takes the slice with a slight nod of thanks, then consumes it before answering the question with a bow.] I am Xellos, the Mysterious Priest - and I am merely exploring the area.
no subject
My names Ayane, nice to meet you Xellos
[she eats 2 more slices and then tosses the last few after losing interest in them.]
After you.
[It's a lot better then trying to figure out the area herself anyway, and at the same time she'll have something to do, even if it is protecting this strange man.]

[He pauses for just a moment, considering letting her get behind him - it's probably not wise to let someone back there. Given her ego, however, he felt he could get out of reach if things went south. And if not, well, he has plenty of tricks up his sleeves.]
Very well, then~. [He steps around her, and takes the lead.] If I might ask, do you know anything of this area?
no subject
Not particularly, I'm kinda new here myself. I was hoping with the two of us we could help each other out. Seeing as you may need a body guard and I need an extra pair of eyes I think this is a win-win situation for us.
[she smiles, trying to lighten the mood.He seems to be a bit nervous about her being there, and she didn't want to scare him off...or worse.]

[ Next thing, Xellos has the rough rogue lifted off of him. There is a cry of pain, and the priestly looking guy is freed from his attack. Yay, saved ]

[Xellos smooths his robes a bit, then lets out a sigh of relief.] "So glad that there's helpful people in this place, and not it's not all ruffians."
