[A slightly confused sounding young man is on the phone. It isn't filtered to anyone]
Uh, Dad? Are you around anywhere, or has anyone seen you? I need to ask you a couple things, and maybe get a permission slip signed so I can go on the school trip.

[A day at school]
[Gohan is standing in the hallway of the Mayfield school in between classes. He seems to be lost in thought, though he's still got the normal smile on his face. He's just quietly putting his books away and collecting the ones for the next class.]

[At the Library]
[When not at home, Gohan has been known to frequent the town's library, always eager to learn more about the town that he's come to live in. He's running his finger along the books, then he finally stops on one.]
Communism: How the Red Menace has Destroyed the Lives and Enslaved the Minds of Weaker Countries.
[He pauses for a moment then blinks]
...Really? That's a long name for a book title.

That is a long title, and an ominous one! ...What is Communism, anyway?

Oh, just a system of government that involves wealth distribution equally among all citizens. Well, somewhat equally.
[He shrugs]
This place has some weird books. I'm Gohan, by the way.
[A giant smile is on his face as he extends a hand]

One would think such a system wasn't a bad thing, but I suppose I'm not in a position to say.

[Gohan pauses and then starts flipping through the book]
You'd think so, but according to this, it is a 'destructive ideal, one that causes demons to appear and dance in the streets, reveling in the debauchery'
[There is a blink, and Gohan closes the book, replacing it.]
If I didn't know better, I'd think that there was a bit of an agenda in that publication.

I know there are techniques that can accomplish such a thing, but I didn't think they had much to do with economics.

I think that you'd be surprised there. After all, my Aunt Bulma always said that accountants were evil. Maybe this has something to do with that.

Not really, from what I can see. There seems to just be a lot of yelling about 'red commie bastards'.
[As he replaces the book again, he shakes his head]
So, Haku, are you here for anything in particular? This place does seem to have some very interesting books.

I just really like reading. I don't get to do it as often as I usually want to.
[He looks slightly confused]
Regain your strength? I think that's just something that happens to everyone here. Look at it like a vacation.

Well, I guess it's a sort of vacation. But a disturbing one, anyway.
