[ Noise. It's always the Noise. As you and her are confronted by a swarm of them, her dagger immediately unsheathes and she twirls the blade around in her hand. If this is your first time, don't worry - she's got things under control!

[ Well, now you've done it. You've either gave her one of her detested foods, made her wear a brand she doesn't like - whatever. Now she's mad and growling a little. ]

Don't think I'm gonna forgive ya over this! I've told ya repeatedly, I hate Lapin Angelique, Natural Puppy and Sheep Heavenly!

[ Pork City, huh? Well, that was a weird task, but if it led them both to a chance at life again - then she'd be all for it.

She returns the salute with one of her own and a smile attached to it. ]

I wonder if the guys in charge don't wanna get their own bacon or somethin' if they keep on sendin' us there. Maybe we can chill by Ramen Don after we get this task done. But, hey, if ya want burgers, we can go for that, too!

Truth to be told, honestly? They can be on a whole sausage fever that is loaded to the brim, and I'd bet it still wouldn't be enough. But I guess we'll never really know since we're stuck with the grunt work.

But yeah! Either or sounds good to me. I just don't think I can deal with seeing anything more pork related unless its on a burger patty or a broth flavor for some ramen. You all set to go?

Right, right~ And, it'll probably gain us some points of some kind. Maybe they do a gold star thing behind the scenes to see who adheres to the rules and all that.

[ At the hair ruffling, she makes a face and pouts along the way. ]

Who knows! And one way to find out! And if not-- eeeeeh, nevermind. I was going to go with 'we'd start making some noise', but I don't think the higher ups would have that much of a sense of humor for that joke.

I know, I know. But that's exactly why I'm saying it! Keep getting all the cool parts and everyone's going to start notice how much of a slacker I am. I'm a sensitive guy with social issues! Can't get that kinda pressure on me if I'm letting the younger one of this pair to do all the work. That'll make all of these muscles I have feel like so many wasted years of my life only spent to admire myself at a mirror! Plus that only nets you that gold star and not me~

[ That will make her laugh. She really appreciated that her partner was willing to crack jokes. That sort of stuff really tended to help keep their spirits up. ]

Well, ya may never know. Maybe this place needs a good shakin' up.

[ Then, she'll stop and turn to face Xylon with consideration and also understanding. She had been fighting for them more often than not, and a break with being the leader might be enough to let her recuperate at least mentally. So, her hand touches his shoulder and she grins. ]

Ya think ya can catch up to the kind of work I've done, huh? Well, I've got faith in ya, partner!

[And that? That actually earns her a pretty refreshing smile all on it's own. So he'll give her a thumbs up and a brofist with the same hand in one go!]

Leave it to me! If things go well enough as I'm hoping they are, then we'll even get to feast like kings when we get back after this is all over and done with!
