I would prefer to not resort to aggression, but I will not hesitate to remove you as a threat if you do not surrender peaceably!

Robo was a name given to me some time after my creation. My serial number is R66-Y.

I have made it my function to protect humans.

[Something about the guy not going by R66 seemed kind of unnatural, but she had always been for letting droids develop their own preferences anyway.]

Sounds like you're a little more independent than most droids. Is there a story behind that, or were you built to have self-determination?

I would assume that my creators decided that hampering higher level thinking would interfere with my ability to function. All of the R Series was built this way.

I see. You're pretty advanced compared to the droids I've met back home. Even the really advanced ones stuck pretty close to built-in core directives.
