[[There's a huge suit of decorated power armor rushing ahead of the pack. The operator doesn't seem to care for orders or teamwork to that big of a degree. But having charged on ahead, she's gone and disrupted what should have been an ambush.

However now, she's stuck in the middle of an enemy cluster, and not really geared to get herself out. Help?]]

[It's not what Lynn and R had intended, but it would do. The chain begins to retract, and Lynn pulls out a handgun to begin opening fire on the already-regrouping mooks.]

Resnick frowned. He'd argued for the use of Clan Wolf's own elementals for this mission, but the brass had been insistent. The clanners needed to show their commitment to the coalition and that meant working more closely with the Brittanians.

And then one of the freeborn power armor troopers had, he thought, proved him right.

Seventy five tons of metal rocketed out of the pit it had been hidden in and took a bead on the enemies sorrounding her. They were too far away to get an accurate shot at with his LRMs without risking hitting her too. However...

"Gremlin four, you require assistance, quiaff? Paint them and squirt the data to me and I will do the rest."

"Pain' em wit wat, Clannerboi?" she smarts off, spraying them with generic rounds from a pair of SMG's.

"Just git me arse outta the fiyah!" she shouts, focusing on one foe and just dumping rounds into it so she can head in his general direction.

"'Ere, ya wanna thing to lockon ta? Use dis thing!" she waves a mine in the air, magnetic at that, as she slaps it onto a mech as she bails out between it's legs.

The crosshairs in his brain align and go beep.

"Fox one!" He says and 15 LRMs bloom from his mech's right shoulder and spear the mech she painted...which is probably overkill for the kind of enemies they're facing.

Who cares about overkill! She doesn't! She's gettin the heck out of there and leaving the 'cool guy explosion' right behind her!

No shame in a retreat if they're killin the ambush that was meant for them!

Small and pale herself due to a childhood spent in warehouses bent over Stalkers and rationing her whole life, Doctor Zero has to agree.

"Thank you, Miss Royston. Many people on this ship are suffering from Vitamin D deficiency."

And Oenone looks genuinely stricken about it.

What is her life that an underage girl can make her blush.

She's 19... that's not underage.

"So is like we're plants n shite? But a lotta that stuff sounds like ol' folks sick. How're'ya gunna tell blokes they cin git ol' folks sick jus cuz they ain't goin ousside nune?"

Not that I don't agree with that little decal you just put on Dozer's Armor.

I'm seriously hoping you've got an explanation as to why you think tagging everyone else's stuff is a good idea, and if you use the word 'fun' you'll be in for it.

But, they cin take more damage than us ma'am. If we git hit by a good shot, we're dun fer. Whas wrong with puttin tha tanks up where tha tanks belong?

What gets me worried is that some of those 'tanks' have kids behind the wheel...

Or that there might be a fight where they're as bad off as us... hell... what if we have to evac someone injured or a VIP and they got into one you tagged? I-...

I just don't like jamming targets on people when we can handle things ourselves Sleuth... if anyone pulled this on you they'd have to pick bits of face off the floor.

Now he steps out of them. He wears the universal look of a disappointed teacher. Sibbies these days.

"It is not going to work very well if you spell out what it is for them, quineg?"

"Well not if ya just say it like that. Yasee, it's the shock more than anythin tha'll git 'em! If ya see sumwon wit 'Distrackshun' painted on their rowbit, is gunna make you wonner why they leff with that, and, in that, they're distracted!"
