1. [Hey look, there's a red robot nearby, looking very similar to a knight in a heavy suit of armor. The robot is kneeling down, the cockpit in its chest open and revealing its pilot, also wearing armor. He inserts an old-looking tome into a slot in the cockpit and proceeds to run diagnostics.]

Hmm... All green, it seems. Good.

[He takes the book out of one slot and puts it into another, and proceeds with his work as if nothing happened. The process also makes the robot's armor slowly change color to blue. Weird.]



2. [Raynor is walking down, the corridor, carrying a huge and a bit wobbly stack of books that obscures most of his vision.]

In hindsight... Taking them all at once wasn't the best idea...

[Surely nothing bad can happen, right?]


3. [Battle time! You're facing a giant monster, and a pretty damn tough one on top of that. Raynor's robot takes a step back after disengaging from melee with the creature, but despite suffering some damage he's not letting his morale drop.]

Tough guy, aren't you...? Don't worry, my friends. I promise that we'll see the end of this together!

Paragon of Compassion! Change, Bard form!

[Paragon's armor changes color into bright gold! The robot's speakers start to blast power metal loudly, the special properties of the soundwaves bringing extra speed and toughness to Raynor's allies!]

[Nothing does, you just somehow crash into some random girl which sends all of the books flying. She is also now on top of you somehow.]

Oof! Gah, I knew this was going to-

Er. Are you alright?

[He tries hard to keep a straight face in this awkward situation.]

Yes, yes I'm fine. I apologize, I should have been watching where I was going.

And I should have known better than to take the short route on corners when carrying so much stuff.

[He gets up on his feet and offers his hand to help her back up too. And starts gathering the scattered books afterwards.]

My skin will be in trouble if some of them lost pages...

I'm going to read them, of course. I rented them from the library.

...Magic robot?

No, Paragon is purely mechanical. I'm not sure about the Tome of Wisdom, though.

So it still needs repairs, then? I don't recognize the make.

I'm afraid so. I'll try to keep the extra work it heaps on you to a minimum.

Under the armor the construction should be fairly similar to most Mobile Suits. It doesn't require recharging the generator, though - the Tome takes care of that.

Well that should be straightforward enough, then. What about the interface for the Tome? Do you have blueprints for that, or is it off limits?

The blueprints? They exist inside the Tome, but I don't think most people would be able to read that.

[This wimpy guy was on the verge of retreating (as usual) when Raynor's powerup engages. Now? He's just stunned.]

...What...is this peculiar music...?

[There's no doubt he feels empowered by the soundwaves, but he's rather apprehensive about attacking that monster again. It already hit him once before...]

Bard's music strengthens your machine. Don't hesitate, we can take this on if we work together!

[Raynor opens fire at the create with his dual handguns! He has to quickly dodge when it smashes at the ground, though - it would smash him too if he didn't avoid.]

[Still fighting the urge to run away here. Combat really isn't Uther's thing...but...]

V-very well! If we can achieve victory...!

[The Seiohki readies its sword, and the huge crown around it floats up into the air. As the Paragon dodges the monster's attack, Uther charges forward - making use of the speed provided by that buff to deliver a wide slash!]

Eeeeii--!!

[The wounded creature now tries to rip and tear Uther, but Raynor grabs its attention by leaping almost literally into its mouth, and firing straight at its face!]

Quick! Finish it off now!

Well, if it hadn't been for that save, this prince would be fleeing from the battle now.]

Y-yes! At once!

[Uther quickly reverses his blade - cutting across the beast as the Seiohki dashes forward and passes it by! But does that do the trick?]

[Raynor shoves his gun straight into the monster's throat and pulls the trigger! That's just a formality, however - the long slash dealt enough damage to it, and the creature blows up, roaring! Raynor jumps away from the explosion, the teeth leaving gashes in his robot's armor.]

[The damaged Paragon turns towards Seiohki.]

"Watch your left!" A voice calls out on the comm.

A low slung chicken leg mech crests the hillside.

"We'll take this Surat-Spawned monster down together! Now, foul beast: face the light of my 'Nova'!"

It raises it's left arm and cuts loose with six red lasers, charring a spot on the monster's carpace!

"It's armor's weakened! Pierce through it, warrior!"

Alright, leave it to me! Time to transform again...

Paragon of Valor! Change, Fighter form!

[As he runs into the creature's direction, Raynor's robot changes color into red this time. And it draws a giant two-handed sword, which it stabs with a leaping blow into the monster's shell, right where the lasers hit!]

Haa~!

[gurrenbrigbonded]

"And one more blow~!" The voice calls out.

The new Mech races forward, and triggers jump jets, soaring over the monster and crimson mech.

Midair, it twists around, and as it free fall behind the monsters back, the Nova's arms extend.

"We shall finish it with twin attacks! Alphaaaaaa...."

Strike!

[Ignoring the creature now trying to smash into Paragon's armor, Raynor swings his sword high with all his might, deepening the wound and cleaving further into the monster's flesh!]
