This... this is... amazing!

[As someone who spent much of his life on a colony and helping construct a kickass Gundam, there are some things Flit's never gotten to experience first-hand before.  Such as a big, fancy amusement park with Ferris Wheels and rollercoasters and arcades and everything.  He's just standing in awe, wondering just what he should go and experience first.]

I saw commercials about these places... I just... didn't think it'd be so BIG!

She scratches the back of her head. "Anyway, I, uh, wanted to figure out how it worked."

Then you're out of luck. To tell you the truth, I might've designed the AGE-1 and helped finish the Builder, but some of the tech behind it is still beyond me and the ESUN.

My mother took the secrets of the AGE System's foundation with her when she died. That's why we can't make more AGE Builders, just provide it information to produce new technology and then reverse-engineer that instead.

I speak of other dimensions with Earths and civilizations parallel to our own; worlds that can be so similar to ours, and yet so different. Some may not resemble the Earth we know in the slightest.

These worlds...are sometimes only a gateway away from ours.

Knowing this, would you still continue to think of how many would become our enemies?

[The Zentradi, the Kaiju, the UE, the Walguru... plenty of alien races who are nothing but a threat to the Earth Sphere. But Hetepheres is different. She has a face and a name, and interests which don't involve killing humans. The bug lady certainly complicates his world views, that's for sure.]

And your people aren't a true enemy either... So why do we have to fight them in the first place?

Because someone decided that conquering earthlings will be better than cooperation, and caused a divide among my people. Aren't your people similar? The nations of Earth also have different goals sometimes, and wage war on one another.

Hey, it's actually pretty flattering when you think about it! You guys are this tiny little hillbilly planet, and you're getting action from like all of the big shots out there. Kind of a shame like all of them are more into razing stuff and blowing other stuff up instead of enjoying your awesome cultural contributions like burritos and surfing and those movies where that one dude jumps around falling off things and kicking other humans in the face.
