1. [It's a calm, beautiful day. Asagi makes sure his bonsai trees are okay, stretches, and leaves his room. This music might as well be playing in the background. Everything is going alright! Maybe for once the day will be relaxing and not full of stress!

And then he steps right into some kind of pandemonium. The music reached the 2:38 part. Calm is replaced by shenanigans. And you're right in the middle of it.]


What is this...

2. [Asagi messed up. Why, exactly? It doesn't matter if it was something big, or something that's irrelevant in the long run, he's beating himself up over it.]


Damnit... Am I going to be one of the Fail Five forever? Urgh...
[He grabs his stomach from stress.]

3. [This time, it's you who looks like you're in trouble! Be it a tough situation in a mecha battle, a personal crisis, or something small, Asagi's big brother instinct flares up and he rushes in.]

[Good thing you did, too. Cobray has gotten himself in a pinch from rushing out to meet the enemy in one of the Unity Group's Genoace units. He might not have had a choice, but it wasn't the best thing to do to begin with, as you can see.]

Yeah, thanks.

[He eyes the remaining enemies: a bunch of Megillots and Varuch Bens approaching in formation. His Genoace then narrowly avoids a projectile, and returns fire with the beam spray gun. But to no one's surprise...it doesn't do much at all.]

...This is going in their favor. We'll need a good plan soon.

[One of the Megillots is cut in two and explodes as Blue-1 charges in, cleaving it with its katana!]

Gh. There's a lot of them against just two of us...

You don't have a force field, do you? I'll act like a shield. Shoot them when they're distracted!

We'll have to manage. If we're taken down here, the mission's success will be at risk.

[Another Megillot closes in, and Cobray's Genoace retaliates - drawing the Heat Stick in its shield to disable the enemy! It doesn't do much damage, but it's good enough.]

Understood. I'll provide support.

[Asagi's got a sound plan. Now, Cobray will try to keep pace. Do your thing.]

[Asagi rushes in and fires his machinegun, drawing the attention of all enemies!

And now they all focus fire on him. His shield and armor are getting chipped off by all the attacks.]

Errr...

Here it comes...take this!

[Cobray shoots as best as he can. He nails a few Megillots with the beam spray gun while Asagi holds their attention, and he even lands a lucky shot on a Varuch Ben's Twin Wheel Buster, causing it to explode.

That being said, the beam spray gun is still very weak, and a good number of shots just plink off of the enemy's armor.]

Asagi, how much more can you take?

[Hopefully, he's done enough to lighten the load at least. He does keep firing though, and now he's attracted some of the enemy's attention to himself!]

This might've been a mistake...

[More desperate dodging and slashing through enemies when they get close enough. Good that AHSMB units are damn fast in general.]

Think we can rejoin the rest of our forces? I can hold on long enough!

[Genoace raises shield against beams. Beams tear through shield after like, five hits, much to Cobray's surprise.]

Kuh...!

[With enemies closing in, the amnesiac pilot is forced to improvise - he smacks a Megillot on the head with the heat stick to confuse it, then kicks the stunned enemy into another Megillot before shooting both with the beam spray gun!]

Even if we both retreat at this stage, only one of us will make it...

...I'll stay and hold them off. You'll reach them faster that way.

[Asagi is hesitating. He doesn't want to die here. He doesn't have the aspirations to be a hero, like some people he knows. But...]

No! I can't have you die just so I can live! Our lives are worth the same!

[Quick combat analysis while dodging and returning fire.]

Let's keep doing the same thing as before. Only start pulling back at the same time! I'll send a signal to our allies! We should meet them halfway through!

[An explosion shakes Blue-1. Asagi responds by riddling the offending enemy with bullets.]

...Probably.

[This catches Cobray by surprise as he continues to fight for his life.

Right now, he's just another guy without most of his memories. The unit he was found in was locked up, and he was only looking to repay the favor for the UG taking him in. Even if he's reckless like this and can't remember anything, finishing the mission is still top priority. Despite the reasons not to do it, Asagi has opted to make sure he survives yet again.]

...I appreciate it.

[The Genoace battles under immense strain. The only projectile weapon it had was running low on energy, and in turn, ammunition. However, it doesn't slow down in the slightest.]



Then, make sure you get through this as well...I'll continue to assist.

[Cobray's borrowed machine on the other hand, would probably be completely wrecked by the end of this...]
