Jul. 28th, 2012 08:20 pmAn eerie green glow is coming out from under the door of Wilhelm's room. Upon opening the door, you will find him calmly seated at his desk, a half-full glass of wine at his side, soft music coming from a nearby, old-fashioned phonograph, and a strange, golden disc, over two rotating circles and a green, translucent cube of energy. Wilhelm stares into this cube, his chin resting in his palm, his eyes never blinking as if he were in a trance.
"I was wondering when you would come," he finally says, his voice totally monotonous. Red, albino eyes finally blink, as Wilhelm turns to face you, and motions to the chair directly across from his desk.
The music begins to pick up just a tiny bit, as Wilhelm reaches for the glass of wine, taking a sip. "The collective unconscious of this world fascinates me," he comments, setting the glass back down. "There is so much chaos, strife, and despair. A dystopian universe the likes of which Lovecraft would have found terrifying. It is a perfect representation of humanity's darkest fears."
Glancing back at the Compass for a moment, Wilhelm blinks, and then looks back at his guest. "I cannot see into many of the locations within the tower. The movements of the collective unconscious are also far too erratic for me to properly predict the future. I am not worried, however; I find the added challenge to be interesting."
